all work and no play...

i've been busy, busy these days....designing wedding invites and a couple websites, a logo, some packaging and editing photos from a recent trip (to be posted soon). in the midst of all the work i managed to enjoy 2 amazing concerts with some of my favorite people. music is a huge inspiration for me so i thought it was worth mentioning the fun things that make all the hard work pay off. i saw eddie vedder and u2 within a couple days of each other. both were completely different and i loved them both! eddie was a smaller venue filled with laid-back acoustic numbers. a little more personal and quiet view of eddie than at a pearl jam show. u2 was at soldier field. i'd never been to such a big outdoor concert. it was full of july in illinois heat and humidity but so worth it! it was just as impressive visually as it was audibly! such a huge set that really looked more like an alien spaceship than a stage. it was so cool to hear songs i'd listened to for years played live by their creator. if you get the chance i highly recommend both!
