moveable type...literally.

earlier this year i came across a sweet project on www.kickstarter.com where a person was transforming an old chevy step van into a traveling printing studio. once the van was complete she was going to travel across the u.s. stopping in various towns where she would open up her truck for a quick and free letterpress lesson.

luckily, she recently stopped in my home town! so i got to check the whole thing out! it was really interesting to meet her and see her moveable shop! she's documenting her entire trip on her blog. here are some images from my type setting time...
